Minor punctuation errors fixed on pages 45 and 162. Punctuation on Plates 4, 5, 6, 16, 20, 22, 34, 39, 40, 41, 42, 42a, 44 was made consistent with the other Plates. Variable use of the words fire-place, fireplace, Croutons, and Croûtons were retained. Other variations in hyphenated words were retained only when they seemed to be used for emphasis or when part of a quoted letter.
