A new constitution was adopted, and the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President--E. A. Riehl, Alton. First Vice-President--G. W. Endicott, Villa Ridge. Second Vice-President--Wm. Jackson, Godfrey. Secretary and Treasurer--E. Hollister, Alton. The following select list of fruits was recommended for the district, or Southern grand division of the State: Apples--Summer--Red Astrachan, Keswick Codlin, Benoni, Saps of Wine, and Maiden's Blush.
