There are two instances where the name “Tristo” was substituted for
“Pulito” in the original publication:
_Tristo._ “With ease. Indeed,
_Tristo._ “Even its title is affecting.
Earlier in the text Pulito exits and there is nowhere in the text
where he returns.
Here Pulito made his exit, singing
It is likely this substitution restores the intent of the author.
