How it works
Earn with John Shaqi is a marketplace for commissioned work. Buyers agree a brief and a price with a seller, the money is held while the work is done, and it is released when the delivery is accepted.
Buying
Find the person
Browse the directory by category, or post a task with a budget range and a deadline and let specialists apply to you.
Agree the brief
Message the seller before ordering if the scope needs adjusting. What is agreed in the order is what the seller is held to.
Review the delivery
Ask for revisions from inside the order so the request, and the date it was made, are both on the record.
Accept or dispute
Accepting releases the held funds. Disputing sends the order to review instead, with the brief and the delivery both in evidence.
Selling
One account
Your seller profile is your existing John Shaqi account with a seller record attached. There is no second login and no second identity.
Build the profile
Write your headline, set your hourly rate and minimum project, list your skills and languages, and choose the categories you work in.
Apply and deliver
Apply to open tasks that fit. Deliver inside the agreed window — on-time deliveries are what build the rating on your profile.
Get paid
Funds move to your balance when the buyer accepts. Payouts are made to the account you connect, on the schedule shown in your seller dashboard.
Payment protection
Funds are held, not forwarded. When an order starts, the buyer’s payment is captured and held against that order. The seller can see that it is secured. They cannot draw on it while the work is outstanding.
Release is the buyer’s act. Accepting a delivery is what releases the money. If a buyer neither accepts nor disputes, the order auto-accepts after the review window shown on the order — sellers are not left waiting indefinitely on silence.
Disputes go to review. A disputed order is frozen with the funds still held while the brief, the delivery and the message history are read. Neither side can move the money during a review.
Nothing is settled off-platform. An agreement made outside an order has no held funds behind it and no dispute route. If it is not an order, it is not protected.
