ACTS XXIV, 25. And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. ROM. II, 16. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my Gospel. ECCL. XII, 14. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. MATT. XII, 36. But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. REV. XX, 11. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. MARK XIII, 24. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light. 25. And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in the heaven shall be shaken. 26. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. MARK XIII, 32. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 2 PET. III, 10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? ROM. XIV, 12.
