11. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12. That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ. JOHN III, 36. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. PROV. X, 28. The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. PROV. XI, 7. When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth. DAN. XII, 2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. MATT. XXV, 46. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. MARK IX, 43. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44. Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. MARK XIV, 21. The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born. LUKE III, 17. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner: but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. LUKE XVI, 26. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you, can not; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. REV. XIV. 10. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. REV. XX, 10. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. REV. XXII, 11. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. MARK III, 29. But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation. HEB. VI, 8. But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. PSALM IX, 17. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
