ACTS XVI, 31. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. ACTS XXVI, 20. But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and then turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. Now then we are embassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. EPH. V, 14. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. JAMES V, 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. EZEK. XXXIII, 11. Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. MATT. XI, 28. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. MATT. XXII, 4. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. LUKE XIV, 17. And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. ISA. XLV, 22. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
