9. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. MATT. XX, 28. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. JOHN VI, 51. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. MATT. XXVI, 28. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. HEB. IX, 12. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. EPH. II, 13. But now, in Christ Jesus, ye, who sometime were far off, were made nigh by the blood of Christ. EPH. V, 2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor. GAL. II, 20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God: 26. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
