5. _Turchik_ (24 miles--94 miles)--Cultivated district.
6. _Mingal_ (14 miles--108 miles).--Crosses plain; water
supplies.
7. _Murgab_ (14 miles--122 miles).--The road leads along a
fertile valley, through a well-cultivated populous country.
