PATENT
Self-protecting Watch Pendant
BY
GEORGE SNOWBALL,
18, SPRING STREET, PADDINGTON. W.
* * * * *
THE intention of the Inventor is to give to the owners of valuable
watches the security and confidence hitherto not enjoyed; as it is
unhappily too well-known that the wearer of so useful an article as a
watch is always in danger of having it wrenched from him. In many
instances, gentlemen have discontinued to display their watch guards for
fear of losing the watch attached to it, therefore being under the
necessity of putting away a useful and elegant part of dress.
Watches, made with the above improvement are keyless; the Watch being
wound and the hands set to the time, and the watch itself protected by
this novel invention. The pendant being a universal joint, cannot be
wrenched off.
The Self-protecting Pendant can be fixed to any Watch for a small cost.
The invention has been highly approved of by a number of scientific
gentlemen.
