3. William Tietsoort, died Mar. 4, 1791, was the settler at Meckheckemeck valley at the bend of the Neversink river, about two miles north of Port Jervis, in little Menissing. With his sister and families he fled from the valley during the French and Indian war, and with his brother-in-law Hendrick Decker and others founded Deckertown. He married Sarah Decker. His son, 4.
