On knes he him sette,
And sweteliche hure grette. 404
Of his feire siȝte
Al þe bur gan liȝte.
He spac faire speche;
Ne dorte him noman teche. 408
Hon kneus he him sette
And rimyld fayre grette. 404
Of þat fayre wihcte
Al þe halle gan licte.
He spak fayre speche;
Ne þar him no ma teche. 408

Rymenhild þe briȝte,

Seie me what þu woldest. 416
Seie, {and} ich schal here,
What þi wille were.”
“Wel þou sitte and softe,
Reymyld, kinges dout{er},
With þine maydnes syxe
