DEVONSHIRE HOUSE, in Piccadilly, is the residence of his Grace the Duke of Devonshire when in London. The house is built principally of brick, and though plain is very elegant and well proportioned, and the rooms of state are very rich and magnificent. The offices on each side are properly subordinate to the house, so as to make a consistent whole.
