His works in prose were very numerous. I note here _La Descrizione del Palazzo Ducale d'Urbino_ (_circa_ 1587), and the _Vite_ of Federigo and Guidobaldo I. of Urbino, the first published in Rome in 1820 and a bad edition of the second in Milan, 1821.
