Every Paper which may be presented to the Society shall, in consequence of such presentation, be considered as the property of the Society, unless there shall have been any previous engagement with its author to the contrary: and the Council may publish the same in any way, and at any time, that they may think proper. But should the Council refuse or neglect, within a reasonable time, to publish such Paper, the author shall have a right to copy the same, and publish it under his own directions. No other person, however, shall publish any Paper belonging to the Society, without the previous consent of the Council. APPENDIX. FORM NO. 1. A. B.
