The minimum charge for consignments up to 40 kilos. is 25 cents. (2½d.), and above 40 kilos. 40 cents. (4d.), inclusive of loading and unloading and station terminals. Plated Goods, Quicksilver, Embroidery, Lace, Articles of Art (Statues, Paintings, Bronze Figures) are charged at the highest Class rates, plus 50 per cent. Explosives, Inflammable and Dangerous Articles, for the conveyance of which special precautions have to be taken, are charged the highest Class rate plus 50 per cent. * * * * * BULKY GOODS, specified in the Classification, which do not weigh 200 kilos. (4 cwt.) per cubic metre (1.308 cubic yard), are charged 50 per cent. in addition to the ordinary Class rates. The carriage so calculated must not, however, exceed the amount chargeable at a computed weight of 200 kilos. per cubic metre. * * * * *
