Repentance. *A requisite for Salvation, what does it mean?* What is the meaning of repentance? In the greek, the word means a change of mind, such as leads one to *confess all his sins, forsake* them and *turn* to God. THE time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: *repent ye*, and believe the gospel. _Mark 1:15._ THEN Peter said unto them, *Repent, and be baptized* every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. _Acts 2:38._ Have you repented, and are you ready for the blessing God has for you? *REPENT ye therefore*, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. _Acts 3:19._ God is commanding us to repent. AND the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now *commandeth all men every where to repent*. _Acts 17:30._ AND they went out, and preached that *men should repent*. _Mark 6:12._ AND that *repentance* and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations. _Luke 24:47._ *EXCEPT ye repent* ye shall all likewise perish. _Luke 13:3._ *REPENT ye*: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. _Matthew 3:2._ I CAME not to call the righteous, *but sinners to repentance*. _Luke 5:32._ Does this verse mean *you*?
