The printer interposed a semi-colon before Irving's name, fooled, no doubt, by the change to normal font for the English name in the German citation. This semi-colon has been removed. The word "Bruhstucke" was also corrected. Note 11.79 of Chapter XI includes a reference to Wustenfeld's "_Zeitschrift für vergleichende Erdkunde_" as "_Zeitschrift für vergleschende Erakunde".
