Is He Visible and Comprehensible? I have seen God face to face (Gen. xxxii, 30). And they saw the God of Israel (Ex. xxiv, 10). For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead (Rom. i, 20). No man hath seen God at any time (John i, 18). Whom no man hath seen, nor can see (1 Tim. vi, 16). There shall no man see me and live (Ex. xxxiii, 20). God is great, and we know him not (Job xxxvi, 26). Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out (Job xxxvii, 23). Is There One God Only?
