O Lord our heavenly Father, high and mighty, King of kings, Lord
of lords, the only Ruler of princes, who dost from thy throne
behold all the dwellers upon earth: Most heartily we beseech thee
with thy favour to behold our most gracious Sovereign Lord, King
_GEORGE_, and so replenish him with the grace of thy Holy Spirit,
that he may alway incline to thy will, and walk in thy way: Endue
him plenteously with heavenly gifts; grant him in health and wealth
long to live; strengthen him that he may vanquish and overcome all
his enemies, and finally after this life he may attain everlasting
joy and felicity; through Jesus Christ our Lord. _Amen_.
_A Prayer for the Royal Family_.
Almighty God, the fountain of all goodness, we humbly beseech thee
to bless our gracious Queen _Mary_, _Alexandra_ the Queen Mother,
_Edward_ Prince of Wales, and all the Royal Family: Endue them
with thy Holy Spirit; enrich them with thy heavenly grace; prosper
them with all happiness; and bring them to thine everlasting
kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. _Amen_.
| _The following Prayer may be said at Evening Prayer, for the_

| Family, _and_ For the High Court of Parliament; _but always_
| _either the following Prayer, or those above noted, shall be_
| _used, together with the_ Prayer for the Clergy and People,
| _the_ Prayer of St Chrysostom, _and_ the Grace, _unless the_

| O Lord God of our fathers, who rulest the nations of the earth;
| Most heartily we beseech thee with thy favour to behold our
| Sovereign Lord, King _GEORGE_, that he may alway incline to thy
| will and walk in thy way; and together with him bless our
| gracious Queen _Mary_, _Alexandra_ the Queen Mother, _Edward_
| Prince of Wales, and all the Royal Family. Endue with wisdom
| the Ministers of the Crown, [the High Court of Parliament at
| this time assembled *,] and those who are in set in authority
| over us, that all things may be so ordered and settled by their
| endeavours, that peace and happiness, truth and justice, religion
| and piety, may be established among us for all generations;
| through Jesus Christ our Lord. _Amen_.
|
| [Margin Note:] * to be said when the Parliament is in Session.
_A Prayer for the Clergy and People_.
Almighty and everlasting God, who alone workest great marvels:
Send down upon our Bishops and Curates, and all Congregations
committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace;
and that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual
dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honour of our
Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. _Amen_.
_A Prayer of Saint Chrysostom_.
