heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 For he who does wrong will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. 4 1 Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. 3 And pray for us as well, that God may open a door to us for the word, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, 4 so that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak. 5 Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. 6 Let your speech always be full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. 7 Tychicus will tell you all about my affairs. He is a beloved brother, a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord. 8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts; 9 and with him Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of yourselves.
