2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. 102.50 The Women Find the Stone Rolled away. MK 16:3-4 3 And they [the women] asked each other, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, though it was very large, had been rolled away. MT 28:5-7 5 [The women entered the tomb] But the angel [who was sitting in the tomb] said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead. And behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.
