The work which absorbed me very much, has stopped. Christ as a myth;[384] and Kenworthy’s book, a rational exposition of the life of Christ. The first is better. There is need of a philosophy of moral economy, i.e., of religious truth. There is such a thing. I have had many good thoughts, being ill and nearing death. I think often with pain of brother S.
