_Formation of the Columns employed in the Concentric Movement on
Kairwán._
The troops forming part of the columns Forgemol and Étienne have been
enumerated in the text. The following details explain the constitution
of the column Saussier, Logerot, and Sabatier, which marched on Kairwán
from Tunis and the Manouba:—
_Infantry_— (1.) The battalions of the 65th, 125th, and 135th
Regiments attached to the _corps expéditionnaire_,
which formed the 1st _Regiment de Marche_.
(2.) The 2d _Regiment de Marche_, composed of the
battalions belonging to the 25th and 55th Regiments.
(3.) The 28th battalion of the _Chasseurs à pied_.
_Cavalry_— (1.) 7th Regiment of the _Chasseurs à cheval_.
(2.) One squadron of the 1st Regiment of _chasseurs
d’Afrique_.
