The Scottish Text Society.
This Society was founded in 1882 for the purpose of printing and
editing texts in Early and Middle Scots. Two parts or volumes,
extending to not less than 400 pages, are published annually; but
additional parts or volumes are issued when the funds permit. They
are printed in uniform style, octavo, and are issued (_a_) in paper
covers, or (_b_) bound in half-leather (maroon), with cloth sides,
gilt top, and gilt lettering. The Annual Subscription is £1, 1s.
(One Guinea), payable in advance. Specimen Volumes may be seen at
the Society's Printers, Messrs William Blackwood & Sons, 45 George
Street, Edinburgh, and 37 Paternoster Row, London, or in any of the
libraries in Great Britain and abroad.
