Records say its facings were once of a peculiar colour, Orange with a shade of Dutch Pink, this was before 1742. It was nicknamed “Guise’s Geese,” from its Colonel’s name from 1735 to 1763; also “the Warwickshire Lads”; and “the Saucy Sixth.” SEVENTH FOOT.
