Containing a full Account of the Black Hawk War, the Rise, Progress, and Fall of Mormonism, the Alton and Lovejoy Riots, and other important and interesting Events. Chicago: S. C. Griggs & Co._, 1854. 447 pp. As the title indicates, the book is chiefly valuable for a period later than 1830. It is also largely political.
