The rest of the sentence refers back to just prior to that when the instructions had been given to keep those things clear. Immediately following the clearing of the jail office is when I gave those instructions at that time, to hold the people back and get those--I did not have time or the opportunity, and did not turn at that time and tell everybody that we were trying to get the car back up into position.
