ISAIAH XLII, 5. Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. REV. IV, 11. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. HEB. III, 4. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. JOHN I, 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. NEH. IX, 6. Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshipeth thee. PSALM XXXVI, 6. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast. COL. I, 16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. (2.) _By the Vastness and Variety of his Works._ GEN. II, 1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. PSALM XCII, 5. O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. PSALM III, 2. The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. REV. XV, 3. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
