GAL. II, 20. For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the Word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. HEB. IV, 2. For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. ROM. IV, 16. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. HEB. VI, 12. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. ROM. V, 2. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. EPH. III, 12.
