A large window over the altar, containing the figures of the four Evangelists, under canopies: their emblems, and those of the passion, are placed in other parts of the window. A scroll at the lower part is inscribed; “Deo et ecclesiæ fratres Hoare dicaverunt.” A very indifferent representation of this window forms the frontispiece to the Gentleman’s Magazine for 1835.
