I have read with interest the Rev. Orin Fowler's Essay on the evils of the use of Tobacco. A perusal cannot fail to convince every candid mind. The use of tobacco in most cases is an evil. The subject is ably discussed in this essay. The arguments are sound, the facts abundant, and the conclusions fair and forcible. They who can resist such appeals must be slaves indeed.
