a strengthening of the particle τοι,
by the enclitic νυν, well then, therefore
now, therefore, Lu. 20.25. 1 Co. 9.26, et al.

a more pointedly demonstrative form of τοῖος,

one who is bold; in a bad sense, a presumptuous,
