Under the title of "A Little Rough Rider" the author tells the story of
a little girl, who, as Señorita Finette, the _equestrienne_, saved the
fortunes of a circus during the early years of the gold-fever in
California. Her charming feats on the back of her trained horse,
Blanco, win fame and fortune for herself as well, the latter being
augmented later by the discovery of gold on certain lands.
