From Moqui-Pueblos trail to Cascades and from Cosnino Tanks distances were taken from map, and for road distances (though correction was made) are probably too small. The trail used from Cascades on Colorado Chiquito to wagon road is perfectly practicable for wagon; hence good mail-road to Prescott. Good camping ground at crossing of Muddy Cañon, between Fort Rock and Oaks and Willows. Road from Mineral Park good. Road from Cerbat sandy. Road from Beale’s Spring good; abandoned military post. Road from Cottonwoods good. Mineral Park and Cerbat are both situated about one mile east of road from Chloride City to Beale’s Spring. To Navajo Springs, good made road round springs; excellent to Limestone Pockets and beyond, till it passes divide, when it becomes sandy.
