96. Now go, and smite Amalek, _and utterly destroy all that they have_, and spare them not; but slay both _man and woman, infant and suckling_, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1. Samuel xv. 3. 97. Therefore _the fathers shall eat the sons_ in the midst of thee, and the _sons shall eat their fathers_; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. "Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, surely because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee, _neither shall mine eye spare, neither will 1 have any pity._."
