165, And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, _Go into the harlot's house and bring out thence the woman and all that she hath_, as ye sware unto her. Joshua vi. 21, 22. 16.6. And it was told Joshua, saying, the five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah. And Joshua said, Roll great stones by the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them. Then said Joshua, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out these five kings unto me out of the cave.
