An ordinary blank-book may be ruled with columns for each of these entries, and the month and year. This furnishes information that is valuable from several standpoints. If the housekeeper is suddenly called away, it is easy to turn to for a list of the firms patronized, or to find the usual amounts ordered, and is valuable for comparison and reference from month to month and year to year.
