In _S. baudini_, _cyanosticta_, _phaeota_, and _sordida_, call-groups are produced as frequently as every 12 seconds, but usually more time elapses between call groups. In _S. sordida_, five or more minutes sometimes elapse between call-groups. The interval is somewhat less in _S. phaeota_. Calls are repeated at much shorter intervals in _S. puma_ (5-55 seconds) and _S. sila_ (4-20 seconds).
