Y. may find the date of the last instance of capital punishment for exercising the Roman Catholic religion in Bishop Challoner's very interesting _Memoirs of Missionary Priests_: Keating, 1836. Every reader of Fox's _Book of Martyrs_ should, in fairness, consult the above work.
