Its receipts are devoted to the Abolition of Slavery in the United States, through the instrumentality of the American A. S. Society. To this end, they are chiefly expended in the maintenance of “_The National Anti-Slavery Standard_,” a weekly newspaper, and the support of an Anti-Slavery Office in the city of New York. From all friends of this cause, superior to all others in magnitude and importance, the Committee would respectfully and earnestly solicit assistance. Donations of money or merchandize are alike acceptable. Pictures, Books, Needlework, Toys, in fine, almost all articles of taste or utility, are suitable contributions. All merchandize intended for the Bazaar should be forwarded so as to reach Boston by the 1st of December.
