It is satisfactory to note that not only has the number of stations making returns been largely augmented, but also that the schedules have considerably increased in number from most stations.[10] It is pleasing, too, to observe the pains and evident interest taken by most of the recorders. Our best thanks are due to the observers above named for their invaluable co-operation, and for the faithful manner in which they have filled in their schedules.
