This will be a waste of time, as we have learned that your trying and doing and working, will not even help to save you, but hinder you. Do you say, ‘there is time enough?’ How do you know it? God says: *MY* spirit *shall not always* strive *with* man. _Genesis 6:3._ PREPARE to meet thy God. _Amos 4:12._ THEREFORE *be ye also ready*: for in such an hour as ye think not the *Son of man cometh*. _Matthew 24:44._ WATCH therefore, *for ye know neither the day* nor *the hour* wherein *the Son of man cometh*. _Matthew 25:13._ Illustration: Acts 24:24-27. Excuses. *There are Church members NO BETTER THAN I!* That may be, but you can not save your soul by finding some church member who is failing to live as he or she ought to live. The more you look at them, the more you are apt to *be like them*, and if they are lost, and you are not saved, you *both will perish together*. THEREFORE *thou art inexcusable,* O man, whosoever thou art that *judgest*: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; *for thou that judgest doest the same things*. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. *And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest* them which do such things, and *doest the same, that thou* shalt escape the judgments of God? _Romans 2:1-3._ *JUDGE not*, that ye not judged. For *with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged*: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. *And why beholdest thou the mote* that is in thy brother’s eye, but *considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye*? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let *me pull* out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? *Thou hypocrite*, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt *thou see clearly* to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. _Matthew 7:1-5._ SO then every one of us shall give an account of *himself to God*.
