Excuses. *Those who KNOW NOT the way.* God has made very clear in His word, the fact that *He loves us* and gave Jesus to *be the way*. JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: *no man cometh unto the Father, but by me*. _John 14:6._ God wants us to forsake *our* way, which is the *wrong* way. *LET the wicked forsake his way*, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: *and let him return unto the* Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, *for he will abundantly pardon*. _Isaiah 55:7._ God has promised *to hear us* when we call. THEN shall ye *call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me*, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, *when ye shall search for me with all your heart*. _Jeremiah 29:12-13._ More, He has promised *to accept us* if we turn to him with true repentance. ALL that the Father giveth me shall come to me: *and him that cometh to I will in no wise cast out*. _John 6:37._ Believe. His promise and *know the way*.
