Some illustrations contained features labelled as X, A, B, 1, 2, etc. and when these are cross referenced in the text they are sometimes inconsistently styled (upper/lower case, roman/italic). The numbering system and font styling of the TOC is not consistent within the TOC nor with the corresponding headings in the text, and some TOC entries correspond to in-line text rather than to true headings.
