During the time Mr. Duesbury carried on the Chelsea Works, from February 1770 to 1773, the “weekly bills” are now in my possession, and are particularly interesting as showing the nature of the articles then made, and the names of the painters and others employed, and the amount of wages they earned. The following examples will be read with interest.
