Bible. Gospels -- Harmonies, English
26 Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and
Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood
among them, and said, "Peace be with you!" 27 Then he said to Thomas,
"Put your finger here, and see my hands. Reach out your hand, and put
it into my side; do not be unbelieving, but believing." 28 Thomas
answered him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Jesus said to him, "Have you
believed because you have seen me? Blessed arethose who have not seen
and yet have believed."
30 Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples,
which are not written in this book.
110.20 Jesus Appears to Five Hundred
1 Corinthians 15:6
6 After that he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at
one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
111.10 Jesus Appears to the Disciples in Galilee
MT 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain
which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw him, they
worshipped him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go
therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them
to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age."
112.10 Jesus Appears to His Disciples at the Sea of Tiberias
JN 21:1-23
1 After this Jesus showed himself again to the disciples by the
Sea of Tiberias, and in this way he showed himself: 2 Simon Peter,
Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of
Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter
said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with
you." They went out and got into the boat; but that night they caught
nothing. 4 But early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the
disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them,
"Children, have you any fish?" They answered him, "No." 6 He said to
them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find
some." So they cast, and now they were not able to haul it in because
of the great number of fish. 7 Then that disciple whom Jesus loved said
to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the
Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and threw
himself into the sea. 8 But the other disciples came in the boat,
dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, but
about a hundred yards off. 9 When they had come to land, they saw a
fire of coals there, with fish lying on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to
them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught." 11 Simon Peter
went aboard and dragged the net ashore, full of large fish, one hundred
and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.
12 Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the
