The footstalks are short. Cup double. Blossom cylindrically pitcher-shaped, sweet-scented, and of a pale purple. Leaves by fours, blunt, curved, and furrowed beneath. DESCRIPTION. Tips crested, within the blossom. Flowers grow at the ends of the branches, mostly by fours, in bunches, and nodding. The footstalks are long, and purple, having three floral leaves. Blossom globular, purple, and squared at the base: the segments of the border are equal and upright. Leaves by fours, of a whitish green, turned inwards, and furrowed beneath.
