Blossom small, nearly bell-shaped, and white: the segments of the mouth are pressed to the threads. Leaves by threes, linear, and smooth. Stem shrubby, a foot high. The footstalks are short, having three floral leaves, which are clammy, and pressed to the cup. Blossom cylindrical, half an inch long, of a pale green, very clammy, shining, and ribbed.
