Blossom purple, of a pyramidal form, ribbed, a little narrowed at the mouth: the segments are oblique and revolute. Leaves by threes, broadly linear and blunt, and beset with long hairs at the edges, furrowed beneath, and spreading. It is a dwarf shrub, very branching.
